This week in Nursery we have been celebrating carnival! We began by making colourful carnival masks with paint and glitter:
And tried them on once they had dried!
In show and tell the children shared their colourful toys and clothes. They have done really well with learning the colour names in English!
We enjoyed exploring a colourful confetti and pompom sensory tray:
In cooking we decorated some colourful biscuits with red icing and multicoloured sprinkles!
We used our fine motor skills to make colourful collages with carnival confetti:
Thursday was party day, and the children cam dressed in wonderful costumes!
And we enjoyed showing them off to the other early years classes and eating party food!
