This week in Nursery we have been learning all about Opposites! We started off with an art piece using the opposite colours of black and white:
During heuristic play we explored a range of hard and soft objects. The children discovered that you can tell if something is hard or soft by banging it. The hard objects made a sound and the soft ones didn’t!
We looked at some picture books and a slide show all about opposites:
For our role play session we pretended it was summer instead of winter! We wore hats and sunglasses, coloured ice creams and played in sand!
We explored big and small fruits, having a go at peeling big oranges and small mandarins:
We furthered practised our fine motor skills by threading long and short pieces of thread:
Otherwise during the week we did some gardening, planting some pea seeds to see if they will grow!:
