It was just a short week this week, but we began our Christmas celebrations in Nursery!
There were lots of new festive decorations to explore in and around our classroom:
We made our own Christmas tree crafts by cutting and painting paper plates, then gluing on pom poms and confetti as colourful baubles:
We had some fun role playing with Christmas character masks and a gingerbread house:
And explored Christmas objects in heuristic play. There was tinsel, a tree, baubles, Christmas crackers, a Christmas tin and ribbons. The children especially enjoyed pulling crackers and decorating the tree:
After the long weekend break we will continue to explore CHRISTMAS!
