On Friday, 8th April, Preschool Blue, together with Preschool Yellow and Nursery, went on their first school trip to the ‘Selvotta’ Nature Park. The children were very excited to go on the mini bus and on the way we sang ‘The wheels on the bus’ song and looked out the window at the surrounding countryside and saw horses and sheep and then sang the ‘Old Mc Donald’ song.
When we arrived at the nature park we had snack and then explored the play park. After this we started our guided visit and saw lots of animals such as rabbits, birds, owls, vultures, sheep, goats, horses, ponies, lamas, and donkeys. At the end of our tour we crossed the wooden bridge and saw the turtles resting under the sun and going for a swim and then we had a picnic lunch.
The Preschoolers were so enthusiastic and well behaved and we all had a fantastic day!
For our next school trip in May we will visit ‘Emy Fattoria’.
