For the first week of December we learnt all about SHAPES!
We got creative with some shape crafts:
Made some delicious faces using circular rice cakes, cucumber and tomatoes:
Practised fine motor skills by making shapes with pongo and small parts:
We explored the shapes in our indoor environment with the mystery bag:
And went for a walk around the school grounds to see which shapes we could find in the outdoor environment!:
Then it was CHRISTMAS!
We made many festive crafts; some to take home and some to sell at the school’s Christmas markets:
Worked on fine motor skills by cutting wrapping paper, making pongo snowmen and having our first try and some pencil worksheets with Christmas shapes:
In cooking lab we made festive biscuits and some beautiful cheese and cracker snowmen:
And got in the Christmas spirit by bringing in show-and-tell decorations, pulling Christmas crackers and exchanging gifts!:
