Plastic project – Earth day – Book day

Maths

Reception Yellow has had a lot of fun learning through lots of hands-on activities.

Making paper mache volcano was a fun and interactive way to learn about them. It was messy!

Using vinegar, water, a little bit of soap and baking soda we made the volcano explode! It was so fun that we did it again!

Recycled art wall

This recycled art wall is always there and children can explore different materials and paint with different tools.

Earth day

‘ Don’t throw rubbish on the floor, don’t waste food.’ Turn off the tap.’ ‘ Clean the floor.’

These are just a few things we learned and talked about on Earth day.

Literacy

‘Three Billy goats gruff’

Our little theater is a fantastic way to loosen up and get involved in speaking activities.

Cooking

The sun is out and we are cooking fresh and healthy snacks. Look at our fruit kebabs!

Plastic/recycle project

The best way of learning at this age is through play and hands-on activities. Reception Yellow, gave objects a second life to be something else.

These are a few of the fun activities that take place in our classroom. I hope you will enjoy our blog as much as we did in these pictures.
