Before our ski week break, we tackled the topics transportations and just at the end we introduced emotions through Saint Valentine’s Day.
Let’s start with transportation by understanding many different types of transportation services and their shapes by trying to find the right parking space. We then went to see the cars nearby and compared them to horses as a form of transportation as well, so that once in class we would draw our own personal favourite one.
We looked at water transport, what floats and what sinks:
For example, boats float.. 
The yellow submarine goes under water but it does not sink, rocks sink…
We created tracks with play-dough and pencil grip worksheets and coloured traffic lights (to play with outside as well):
And we had fun making transport puzzles all together:
Now instead it was all about hearts and emotions:
