November has been another busy and exciting month.
In maths, we had a closer look at the number 10. We made collections of 10 objects and explored represent it and how to make it using the Numicon tiles as puzzles.
We also used Uno cards and dominoes in a mix and match numbers and quantities. It was lots of fun!

In literacy we learnt many new sounds, learnt the story of the Enormous Turnip in Talk4writing and we started reading our first CVC words
During cooking we baked a wonderful tiramisu, some muffins with white and dark chocolate as a number bonds to 10 activity and we build some wonderful boat-sandwiches in relation to our topic on transportation.
When playing outside, we came across the biggest and longest worm we had ever seen!
We had fun making faces with leaves, acorns and all we could find in our park.
We also collected many sticks, that we ordered from the longest to the shortest. The result was a beautiful Christmas tree that we used to decorate our classroom.
We are now very busy making Christmas crafts and preparing our little Christmas concert but hush! it’s a surprise!!!
We’ll keep you posted in our next blog!
