Welcome to the Preschool class blog! We’ve had a very busy start to the school year; old friends from last year reunited, new children joined our group , everyone settling-in and getting acquainted.
On the first day all Preschoolers arrived with a parent and we all spent the morning together exploring our classroom and the outdoor park. Before saying goodbye, we enjoyed a lovely picnic together under the sun!
During the first few weeks of September, the children explored their environment, met all their teachers, got to know each other and made friends. Slowly, slowly they are adjusting to the daily routine and forming as a group.
The children were enthusiastic when presented with different activities in class and they really enjoyed Ms. Roberta’s ‘surprise box’.
One of the focus topics in September was all about me and my family. The children brought some photos from home and made their very own ‘family poster’.
We spent a lot of time in the first two weeks in the ‘Secret Garden’; an area dedicated to children from Nursery to year 1. The children played in the sand, collected leaves and twigs in their wheelbarrows and had fun on the slide and swings.
The met their subject teachers; Mr. Alberto-Gym, Mr. Justin-Art and Mr. Davide-Music and showed enthusiasm in these lessons.
In September we had 3 birthday celebrations; Happy 3rd Birthdays to Edoardo B, Gabriele and Edoardo Maria P.
