Last Thursday, 11th April, the Nursery and Preschool children went on a school trip to ‘Agrilab’ in Campagnano. There was lots of excitement in class the morning of the trip and the bus journey there was full of chatter and giggles! On arrival, we were greeted by Silvia, the owner, who offered us morning snack; freshly made pizza and jam tart which the children loved!
During the first part of our visit, we made biscuits which the children really enjoyed and they got to bring their delicious biscuits home.
Next we went for a walk around the farm and saw the huge hay bales and the freshly picked fruit and vegeatbles. We then visisted the animals and saw pigs, hens, roosters, goats, geese and lots of rabbits. The children were able to get up close with the rabbits and this was surely their favourite part of the day.
Lastly, we had lunch and then played in the beautiful outdoor play area where the children had lots of practise climbing logs. We had a wonderfully fun and interesting day!
