December in Early Years has been a very busy month in the lead up to Christmas. On the 5th we had a ‘creative Christmas lab’ with Parents where we made some beautiful Christmas decorations.
The children were enthusaistic to decorate the class and to make gifts for their Families. The busy little elves also found time to prepare items to sell at the Christmas market such as painted and decorated pine cones as well as colourful calenders.
We got together each moring to practise our Christmas songs and painted t-shirts for the performance. In the last week, many children were off sick but we kept on practising and on the big day a lot of people came to watch our Christmas performance which was very special.
