Informative Writing – Australian Animals – Year 2 classes – 3rdProject Experience

In Year 2 we went for a journey to discover animals’ features and habitats on the other side of the world form the end of April to the second week of June.

We got excited when we used technology to explore Australia topic to broaden our knowledge about the world we live in.

We saw lots of interesting, short documentaries and read non fiction books from the school library. We wanted to know more about Australian animals and discussed how to share our findings with our friends and families.

So children learnt to write informative texts to examine and convey the information acquired clearly and accurately, through effective selection, organisation and analysis of specific articles’ contents.
