WELCOME TO ART LAB.
Hello and welcome back to school. I hope you had a fantastic summer and are rested “children and parents” alike and ready for a new school year.
The lab is ready with a creative and fun curriculum which will take all the children on a magical journey of discovery into the many aspects of the art, craft and design. Throughout the year the children will explore a variety of tools, materials and learn about their purpose and function within different disciplines. They will investigate how artist, craft persons, designer and other culture used these tools to created their works of art. From these beginnings the children will use their knowledge to create their own master pieces.
At the end of each unit, I will post a visual record of the children working within the lesson towards their final pieces of work. The final art works, will then be put on display around the school for everyone to appreciate and admire.
I am looking forward to meeting and teaching your children again and would like to say a special “hello and welcome” to the new children and families who have joined us this year.
