Welcome to the Early Years class!
New beginnings are an exciting time and I look forward to meeting and getting to know you and your child on Friday 2nd September.
My name is Catriona Mullan and I am from Ireland. I have been living in Rome for almost 18 years now and this will be my seventh year at ‘Acorn House International’ (AHI). I have been working with young children for over 20 years now, 16 of these have been in International schools here in Rome.
My aim is to help your child settle in to his/her new class as smoothly as possible together with your support and collaboration. Each child is unique and so the initial settling-in period will vary and change according to the children’s individual needs; this is where we will aim to work well together to ensure that their specific needs are met.
During this initial settling-in period, we will have lots of opportunities to chat about your child’s daily progress as this is important in ensuring a successful and happy transition.
