A Review of Bao Bao Traditional Chinese Restaurant

Bao Bao is a traditional Chinese restaurant that my mother and I go to on special occasions. My favorite dumpling is the shrimp one with squid ink dough, but it’s up to you!
First let’s start with the chef known as Suchanan Aksornnan, but called chef Bao Bao. When she was 15, Bao Bao and her mother moved to New York to cook together. She was then formally trained at the International Culinary Center and L’Ecole in NYC.

What’s on the Menu?

But the main question is what do they serve to eat? Well, the most popular dish is steamed dumplings, there are vegetarian and vegan ones too ! You can also try the ramen, mochi, and jumbo ravioli.

A Customer’s Perspective

But why do people like it? I asked a frequent customer, Elizabeth Farren who goes to lunch with her two children :

“I love the pan fried chicken dumplings and shrimp ones. It’s very convenient, fresh, and homemade”

Where to Find It

Bao Bao is calm and tasty, for those who live in the neighborhood of Prati Rome on Via Paolo Emilio 12 or the other Piazza di Spagna and the third location is in the Istria zone. If you like dumplings, you know where to go!

Price & Opening Hours

The prices range from 3,50 to 7,50 per dish. The frozen ones are 8,50 and the mochi are 2 euro per each. The shop is open daily from 10AM until 9PM. But what do we know about their promotions? Well let’s discover !It has won many promotions, for example best homemade dumplings and many more.
