Every year on the 20th of November is Universal Children’s Day when we think about children, help them to understand their rights and try to create a safe and fair world for children. In year 3 we spent a week dedicating many of our lessons to thinking about children’s rights. We did lots of different activities that helped us to understand what rights are, that we all have them and why we should all have them and also how to recognise when children are treated unfairly. In our presentation below you can see photos of the children as they completed posters, presentations and group activities that were all based on children’s rights. Enjoy!
