Dear Year 4 parents, this is our first blog and you will be able to see a snapshot of all the hard work the children have done during the first few weeks of school. Fantastic Mr. Fox was our headline actor and we used his fantastic story to look at morales, how adjectives can be used to describe our characters and to write an invitation to a party using W-I-C-K-E-D, informal language. In citizenship we took this one step further to look at how stealing, what Mr. Fox was doing to survive, could be done via the internet. The children not only researched online theft but produced a google slides presentation to demonstrate the risks and how to protect ourselves online. Have fun looking at the photos and slides.
