The following performance is more than just a charming interpretation of a piece of literary heritage that also showcases their high level of English; it is a talking, moving tribute to the resilience and steadfastness of its performers.
A special mention is deserved for Anthony and Chiara who took on the titular roles with dependability, enthusiasm and dedication. Others, such as Federico and Kyan showed a wonderful talent for choreography, while Elisa brought her natural sense of comic timing. In fact, it would be possible to mention everyone, because each individual brought something special to the play, just as they brought something special to the class and the school over the last decade. We shall miss them, but we take pleasure in knowing that their final acts were kindly recorded by Mr Silani for them to enjoy and reflect on with nostalgia in years to come. Also included is a colour copy of the programme.
