End of Year 9 Blog

Well, well, well. You finally made it, Year 9. As sad as it is to see you all leave, it is with great pleasure to see you complete this important stage of your personal and academic development. You have all grown so much. From our first MBA paragraph to the complex historical essay on why slavery was abolished, we have all come so far. Nothing can stop your writing ability now and you are all well set up to thrive in High School. The research skills and presentation abilities (shown below) developed this year have been taken to such a high standard you can all be truly proud of the work done over the course of our time together.

We also successfully studied the complex world issues such as globalisation and why poor countries remain poor (and rich get richer), which is fundamental in understanding how our world actually operates. It ties in with the school ethos of producing responsible, global citizens and everyone of our leavers stands up to that image. It has been an amazing three years and I am so proud of who you have all turned into. Enjoy your summer holidays, before the reality of High School kicks in!
