We carried out an enquiry to see how Acorn House International uses reusable & non reusable plastics in our infrastructure. We discovered that most of the furniture includes plastic clocks, chairs and starboards. We have tried our hardest to ensure we no longer buy or use plastic as much as possible. If we do, we must re use it. One of the methods we apply is to reuse broken chairs for objects for the school play. With the help of Mr Justin, we can make some really convincing shields this year!
There are always room for improvements. We could improve by using wooden chairs in place of plastic chairs or changing plastic clocks to metal or glass clocks. As long as we recycle onsite we will not contribute to the problem! Parents can help, too! Recycle old objects. Old toys for Early Years! The important thing is to reuse plastic objects as much as possible.
