The Preschoolers have been very busy little elves during the month of December!
RED: For our weekly ‘Show-and-tell’ they brought in something red or wore something red
During our weekly visit to the library we practised singing for our Christmas performance and looked at some Christmas/winter books which we brought back to class. We decorated our classroom with lots of colourful things and painted and decorated pine cones to sell at the Christms market.
For their families the children either made a Christmas tree or a star from wooden sticks as well as a Christmas card. They really enjoyed making biscuits such as Christmas trees and stars which they then carefully decorated.
For our last Show-and-tell of December the children brought in items related to Christmas such as books, toys, ornaments and decorations. On the last day of school they performed for their families and sang beautifully !
