We wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, we wish you a Merry Christmas, and a happy New Year!!!
December is almost gone and it is time for us to let you all know what we were up to during this wonderful busy month.
We started by putting up the Christmas tree, obviously. We all took turns to put ornaments on the tree and it was a lot of fun! It allows us to spend a lot of time as friends and classmates, doing something nice that unites us.
It’s the Santa Claus Boogie….
We have also been practising our dance and songs… we can’t wait to show them to you! Ms. Nicole asked us to be really careful not to tell anyone what we were doing since it has to be a big surprise. We will song different Christmas songs, since we are a very cool and different class.
And then…
We went to see How the Grinch Stole Christmas at Sala Umberto!
It was a very nice representation of the book, and we sure understood the meaning of Christmas, no matter what we are, who we are, what we get, who we give to. Christmas is a time to share and to spend with loved ones! The nicest part is that we as an audience got to participate and went on stage.
In the meantime, we still did a lot of school work and it was fun Christmas themed. We practised our multiplication tables and coloured, since we did not want it to be all work and no fun.
We also did crafts, loads of them. We made a huge effort to create something with recycled material, since we had been studying recycling and how to make new things out of old ones. We really hope you like them and they make way to your homes.
I guess we have told you a lot of what we did during this month and I hope you enjoy reading! Make sure you ask us for updates in January.
From Year 5 Class to all of you: Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!!!
See you in 2018.
