DA VINCI…
It was a great day. We are studying forces in Science class and we got to see them in action! Who would’ve known that Leonardo Da Vinci was si important to Science? We sure did not.
We went to the Museum and saw prototypes of Da Vinci’s work, and we also got to experiment with some of them. We were divided into three groups, given clues to look for the missing pieces to build some of the machines, and we got to work. Some of us had to build a bridge, without using any cement or glue! We also had to build ramps, and use them.
We discovered that fidget spinners are not new! They use little ball bearings, just like sliding doors, and they were invented by Da Vinci! Da Vinci’s machines have made life easier for everyone, specially for moving things around. They are used on daily tasks such as opening windows.
This was a really cool experience and we sure had a lot of fun experiencing with Science!
