Ms. Deanne & Ms. Marion welcome children to Year 1 Yellow and Blue. The first month of school has flown over, new children have settled in well and both old and new have made new friends.
The children are now used to their new environment and routine and are making great progress in class.
Here are few glimpses at what’s been going on in September in Year 1.
The bikes are a huge success with the boys and the girls love the climbing frame.
In Math the children had fun counting coloured blocks and big teeth during Roald Dahl day after listening to one of his many famous stories ” The Enormous Crocodile”. In literacy we have been practicing letter sounds, tricky words and CVC words.
The children are also learning to love books and discover how interesting they can be.
