Not only did we celebrate carnival today – we also celebrated pancake Day! This is also known as Shrove Tuesday and is a day where traditionally we eat pancakes with sugar and lemon for dinner! The class wrote recipes and then made pancakes (cooked by an adult) to taste. After eating the pancakes we had fun pancake races, making sure that we flipped the pancake correctly.
