At the end of November/beginning of December we explored ‘shapes’ in class. The children brought in items of different shapes for ‘Show-and-tell’ and we searched for different shaped objects within our class. We looked at books about shapes and took turns at matching shapes on our big shape board. The children also made a shape Santa in art lab with Mr. Justin.
We had a lot of fun exploring the colour red. We painted red, made red collages, looked for red objects in class to make a display and the children brought in some red toys/objects from home for ‘Show-and-tell’.
In preparation for our Christmas market, the children painted and decorated lots of pine cones. We sang some Christmas songs in class as well as in music class with Mr. Davide.
