Dear Parents,
I hope you and your children had a relaxing and pleasant summer holiday. We are all looking forward to welcoming our students back to Acorn House International. This year promises to be another exciting one, as the middle school continues to grow: our pioneering class of year nine enters its final year and will prepare for the Italian exams, our year eights will be working hard to further develop their English and Italian excellence, and our new year sevens will embark on the relatively well-worn path of their elder peers and siblings.
From a secondary point of view,
we are sorry to see Miss Zedde move to the primary school, but we are of course delighted that she will still be with us to deliver the history curriculum. It is with great pleasure that we see the return of Miss Lioce, as well as the addition of Mr Gale to the middle school team, where he will be teaching history and geography. Maths and science stalwart Mr Battaglia will be continuing in his role, and we are happy to introduce Miss Torres, who will be replacing Miss Cat in delivering the English science department.
For my part, I shall be delivering the English curriculum to all years in the middle school, with some support from Mr Gale.
